Is publishing in Journal of Genetic Resources/JGR free?

Yes. There are no submission or publication fees in JGR. 

How often is JGR published?

JGR is a biannual journal (2/Y). It is a biannual open-access online scientific journal published in 2015 for the first time.

Is JGR available in the printed version?

Due to the new policies of the “University of Mazandaran Press”, the printed JGR, from the 2018 year (for authors) is NOT available.

Where is JGR indexed or abstracted?

Please check the “Indexing and Abstracting” tab by clicking on the “Journal Info” tab in the Toolbar Menu, to get details.

How do I submit my paper?

The journal accepts only manuscripts through the online submission system. To submit your article, at first, click on the “Guide for Authors” tab in the Toolbar Menu, to get details on how to submit your article. Then, click on the Submit a New Manuscript tab to submit your article.

How do I contact the Editor of the Journal?

To contact the Editor, click on the “Contact Us” tab in the Toolbar Menu, to get on how to contact the Editor.

How do I find our Manuscript Type?

To find Manuscript Type, definitions and requirements of the Manuscript Types brought in Author Guidelines section.  Click on the “Guide for Authors” tab in the Toolbar Menu, to get details on what your Article Types.

How do I find Publication or Assignment Form?

First click on the “Journal Info” tab in the Toolbar Menu, then click on “Publication Ethics” to get detail. The corresponding author can download it by clicking “Publication Ethics Form/Copyright Assigment Form (Form 1)” and sign Form 1 stating that the article is an original work, has not been published before and is not being considered for publication elsewhere in its final form either in printed or electronic form.

How do I find Conflict of Interest Form?

First click on the “Journal Info” tab in the Toolbar Menu, then click on the “Publication Ethics” to get details. The corresponding author can download it by clicking “Conflict of Interest Form (Form 2)” and  sign “Form 2”, that showed all authors have significantly contributed to the research and fullfil the authorship criteria.

How can I become a Reviewer?

Typically, reviewers are invited to conduct a review by a journal’s manager or editor. Editors usually select researchers that are experts in the same subject area as the paper. However, if you think you would be a good reviewer for a specific journal, you can always contact one of the journal's editors.

How do write Persian Abstracts for our Manuscript?

All Iranian Authors should write “Persian Abstract” after Scientific Acceptance of Manuscript. Foreign authors are not necessary. The “Persian Abstract” of these authors, will be writhing by “Associate Editors”.

We Published a Paper in Journal of Genetic Resources (JGR) and Have a Correction. What is the Process of Publishing a Corrigendum?

First click on the “Journal Info” tab in the Toolbar Menu, then click on the “Publication Ethics” to get details. The corresponding author should prepared a Corrigendum Word File and sign it. The corrigendum template file directly can download by clicking (PLEASE CLICK HERE). Then it submits by choosing "Discretionary Corrigendum" at "Submit Manuscript" tab in the Toolbar Menu, as a New Manuscript.
